BACK TO RESULTS \\ Diet & Nutrition Recipes Cereal Snack Mix with Salt-free Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 3 tablespoons Mrs. Dash® Onion and Herb seasoning blend
  • 8 cups Crispix® cereal
  • 2 cups unsalted pretzels
  • 2 cups oyster crackers

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 250° F.
  2. Melt butter in shallow baking pan.
  3. Stir in seasoning blend. Toss in cereal, pretzels and oyster crackers and coat with butter mixture.
  4. Bake for 60 minutes, removing pan from oven and stirring every 15 minutes.

Helpful hints

  • Use your favorite salt-free herb blend and/or add dried dill to the mix.
  • Look for the lowest sodium oyster crackers.
