BACK TO RESULTS \\ Diet & Nutrition Recipes Tzatziki Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1/2 small cucumber
  • 1 cup plain Greek nonfat yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried dill
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Peel the cucumber then grate using the large holes of a box grater.
  2. Remove some of the liquid from grated cucumber by lightly squeezing while holding over the sink.
  3. In a small bowl mix cucumber with the Greek yogurt, garlic powder, dill, pepper and lemon juice to make tzatziki sauce.
  4. Cover and place in the refrigerator until ready to serve.
