Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons honey
 - 1 cup rhubarb
 - 1 cup strawberries, unsweetened, frozen
 - 2-3/4 cups applesauce, unsweetened
 
Preparation
- In a medium saucepan combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat until rhubarb is soft.
 - Add more honey if sauce is too tart.
 - Serve with chunky fruit pieces or process in a food processor or blender for a smooth sauce. Serve hot or chilled.
 
Helpful hints
- Serve as a sauce for meat or poultry or increase to 1/2 cup and serve as a dessert.
 - Keep sauce in the refrigerator for one week or freeze part of it for later.
