Ingredients
- 1 medium cucumber
- 1/3 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon fresh dill weed
Preparation
- Thinly slice cucumber.
- Mix together sour cream, vinegar (or lemon juice), sugar (or sweetener) and pepper.
- Combine mixture with cucumbers. Chill before serving.
- Garnish with fresh chopped dill weed if desired.
Helpful hints
- Replace vinegar with lemon juice if preferred.
- For a variation add 2 tablespoons chopped onion or chives.
- For a lighter version, substitute fat-free sour cream instead of regular sour cream.
