BACK TO RESULTS \\ Diet & Nutrition Recipes Pineapple Rice

Ingredients

  • 1 cup canned pineapple tidbits in unsweetened juice
  • 3/4 cup long grain white rice, uncooked
  • 1-1/4 cups water

Preparation

  1. Drain pineapple and reserve juice.
  2. Mix together the pineapple, rice, reserved pineapple juice & water in a saucepan. 
  3. Bring to a boil, cover and reduce heat. Simmer for 20 to 25 minutes, until all of the water is absorbed and the rice is tender.

Helpful hints

  • Serve with any of the curry recipes.
