Ingredients

  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or sweetener of choice

Preparation

  1.  Place quart size bowl and mixers from a hand-mixer in the freezer for 15-20 minutes.
  2. Pour whipping cream, vanilla extract and sugar into chilled bowl. Begin to beat on low speed. When cream begins to foam beat on high speed until stiff peaks are formed. Be careful not to overbeat.

Helpful hints

  • May use preferred sweetener to taste in recipe.
  • Use in recipes calling for whipped cream topping or Cool Whip® frozen dessert topping. Homemade whipped cream does not contain phosphate additives.
