Ingredients
- 1 grapefruit
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
Preparation
- Preheat broiler to 400º F.
- Cut grapefruit in half then cut around the edges and sections of each grapefruit half.
- Drizzle the top of each half with a teaspoon of honey and 1/8 teaspoon cinnamon.
- Broil grapefruit for 6 minutes or until it starts to brown.
- Serve hot.
Helpful hints
- Sectioning the grapefruit before broiling makes it easier to eat.
- Grapefruit and grapefruit juice are known to interact with some medications. Check with your healthcare team to be sure grapefruit is safe to include in your diet.
