Ingredients
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tablespoon espresso powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- Pinch of nutmeg for dusting
Preparation
- Combine first 4 ingredients into a small sauce pan over medium heat.
- Bring to a soft boil while stirring with a whisk.
- Transfer to a coffee mug and sprinkle with nutmeg.
Helpful hints
- Substitute almond milk with coconut milk beverage if preferred.
- Replace sugar with desired substitute for a lower carbohydrate drink.
- Recipe not recommended if you are on a low calcium diet. Many milk alternatives are high in calcium.
