Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 4 medium bell peppers
  • 2 cups cooked white rice
  • 1-1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley
  • 3 ounces unsalted tomato sauce

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F.
  2. Core and de-seed bell peppers.
  3. Brown ground beef and drain liquid.
  4. Add onion, rice, garlic powder, black pepper, parsley and tomato sauce to cooked beef; simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Fill each bell pepper with mixture.
  6. Bake for 1 hour.

  • Freeze extra servings for a quick meal later.
