Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
- 2 pounds pork tenderloin
- 1 lime
- 1/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup fresh cilantro (optional)
Preparation
- Drizzle oil in the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Combine dried spices, then sprinkle over the pork tenderloin.
- Squeeze in juice from the lime and add the 1/4 cup orange juice.
- Cook on low setting for 6 to 8 hours for most tender pork. If faster is time desired cook on high setting for 4 hours.
- Shred cooked pork using 2 forks. Mix in fresh cilantro if desired and serve.
Helpful hints
- Serve with corn tortillas or over white or brown rice with chopped cilantro.
