Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 2 teaspoons ground oregano
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Preparation

  1. Mix ingredients together.
  2. Store in an airtight container until ready to use.

Helpful hints

  • Blackening Seasoning is great on fish, shrimp or chicken.
  • For a completely sodium-free seasoning, omit the salt.
  • Use 1 teaspoon per serving when using as a rub  or seasoning for your favorite seafood or poultry dish.
